On-going Investigation
Investigation of the outbuildings and grounds of a private residence (1777)
--The residence is reported to have multiple spirits including that
of a protective Native American brave.
--Various apparitions have been sighted.
--Objects have been observed moving.
--Footsteps, knocking, and voices have been heard.
--"Shadow people" have been sighted on the property around the old well.
--Strange lights been sighted on the grounds.
--Relic Recovery will assist.
6/20/09: Primarily a 'recon' and metal detecting event, during this investigation a team member discovered an unfinished arrowhead--which coincides with the reports of a native American spirit haunting the grounds.
7/09:
The clients again sighted a strange light from the grounds of the
residence and supplied the photographs below, along with other photographs--taken in April 2009--of what might be the same or a similar object.
Analysis of the photographs indicate that it is not swamp gas--which has been photographed near the property previously. It is also probably not a satellite or space junk considering that it's reported to be stationary--the trails are due to camera movement--and was visible for over 30 minutes.

Further details need to be gathered, including documenting in-depth accounts from the home owners. The homeowners do have video of the object that we will post in the future.
At this time it is possible that the object is an airplane. There are multiple flight paths over the area from public, private, and military airports. The reports coincide with with a craft moving perpendicular to the angle of observation.
For comparison, below are several photographs of a planet--taken on July 31st--which was viewable in the southeastern sky close to the time and location of the July 2009 photographs above.
Further research needs to be completed on this historic residence, and we'll post on-going results here.

First Person AccountsThere is a history of possibly paranormal activity reported by the building's owner and multiple tenants. They include:
--strange sounds
--footsteps
--strange sounds

Investigation Report
Old Cistern
We broke up into 2 groups. While in the cellar, investigators experienced "rapping" apparently in response to direct questions [see Rapping below].
We arrived at 6:30pm to start our investigation of this large 3 story Victorian, that was originally built as a single family home. In its present condition, it has been divided into 4 large apartments. We were asked to investigate by one of the tenants and obtained permission from the buildings owner to do so.
Old Cistern
We broke up into 2 groups. While in the cellar, investigators experienced "rapping" apparently in response to direct questions [see Rapping below].
In the attic dowsing rods were very active as well as distinct air [temperature] changes, i.e. unexplained cold spots. In one of the apartments, a child's voice [see Child's Voice below] was recorded on audio, but not heard by investigators at the time.
Several other anomalies were detected as well and occurred throughout the building. These included high EMF readings, dowsing rod activity, and multiple first person reports of feelings of "being watched".
On the whole the building provided an interesting evening and there appears to be some paranormal activity present.
Sounds/Voices
Recorded in the cellar [pictured below] of this reportedly haunted residence, this audio is a startling example of rapping in response to an investigators questions.
The rapping occurred on the ceiling immediately above several investigators, and was not due to water or steam pipes.
Child's Voice EVP
Listen closely to this audio and you'll hear what sounds like a child's voice.
We are unsure as to what the voice is saying. This audio was discovered during
evidence review, and nothing was noted at the time it occurred.
Thus EVP was recorded in the attic [pictured above]. The orbs in the picture are probably dust.
Dowsing Rod Activity
We often use dowsing rods during our investigations.
Though we acknowledge that ideomotor stimulation can cause movement of the rods, we've found them to be a useful adjunct tool.
In the pictures below, one of our guest investigators appeared to get strong response. He described it as "something was trying to pull the dowsing rod out of my hand."
